The night is just as lovely as the day. Available in two versions, these limited editions feature dials in deep colors that are a metaphor for the fleeting hours of a day.
MB&F’s first women’s watch for spring 2019 is unlike any other. This is completely understandable, as its unconventional design draws on the brand’s dense creative universe. Legacy Machine FlyingT seeks to be both complex and sophisticated. The central flying tourbillon focuses all of our attention at 60-second rotations under an impressive 20 mm high dome. The understated white lacquered dial at 7 o’clock is tilted to 50°. Its snake-shaped hands display the hours and minutes. Given its position, it is only visible to the wearer, whose elegant wrist adorns this timepiece.
The first models shone in their diamond-set cases. These new versions are undecorated…almost. One of the watches pairs a 38.5 mm rose gold case with a concentric black guilloché dial. The other combines a platinum case of the same size with luminous blue guilloché. Their production is limited to only 18 pieces each. Wear it with a calfskin or alligator leather strap, secured with a pin buckle.
Mechanically, the automatic movement assembled from 280 components provides the Legacy Machine FlyingT with a 100-hour power reserve, or 4 days. There are also two symmetrical crowns at 3 and 9 o’clock, one for setting the time and the other for winding the movement.
