This young collection, whose name comes from the famous aerodynamic locomotive Millennium from the early 20th century, was imagined by the independent brand led by Edouard Meylan, presenting a new watch with a delicate green dial.
Between the 1930s and 1950s, in an era when all kinds of transportation flourished, the streamlined locomotives, these locomotives and carriages with aerodynamic contours, appeared on the stage, passing through the air, towed along high-speed trains, enabling city-to-city travel. The typical style of these public transportation vehicles inspired the independent manufacturer H. Moser & Cie, led by Edouard Meylan, to create the Streamline watch, a cushion-shaped watch. The Streamlined Center Seconds is the second piece in this fresh and young collection, presenting a super seventies look that makes it always so charming and definitely one of the best watches of 2020.
The 40mm diameter stainless steel case, slightly square physique, delicate curved lines and concave case middle, is water-resistant to 120 meters and is equipped with a screw-down crown and sapphire crystal glass case back. The inner workings of the HMC200 movement, especially the gold skeletonized rotor, are revealed, an automatic movement that drives the hours, minutes, seconds and offers a 3-day power reserve.
The dial, adorned with Cosmic Green, a color synonymous with an uplifting green, reigns supreme beneath a curved sapphire crystal dome. Three silver hands, coated with white Globolight XP®, hover over this jazzy hue, which is adorned with hour markers and a minute tracker.
In addition to the cushion silhouette and the uplifting face, the streamlined center seconds hand captivates with its integrated steel link bracelet connected by a folding clasp.
