VS is famous for its Omega Seamaster, Constellation, and Panerai in the replica watch industry. The most important thing is the movement. The 8500 and 8900 all-in-one customized by VS have become the strongest Omega replica movements in the market. The movement is powerful and completely restored to the original. The appearance is basically the same except that it cannot achieve a card-free hairspring. It is a movement that truly combines stability, accuracy and restoration. However, today we will mainly explain the use of the GMT pointer function!
First, the VS factory Ocean Universe GMT function is shown in the figure above. The three positions of the crown:
- Normal position (the position of the crown when worn normally): The crown is close to the case to ensure waterproof effect. It can be wound from time to time. If the watch has not been worn for more than 60 hours, the crown in position 1 can be turned to wind the watch.
- Set the time zone and adjust the time: Pull the crown out to position 2, turn it forward or backward, the hour hand will move forward or backward in 1-hour units, and the date will automatically change when the hour hand passes 12 o’clock at night. Then press the crown back to position 1.
- Synchronously calibrate the watch hour hand and the “24-hour” hand. Pull the crown out to position 2 and turn it until the hour hand is the same as the time shown by the “24-hour” hand on the 24-hour dial of the rotating bezel. When calibrating the watch hour hand, pay attention to whether the morning and afternoon time is correct.
After synchronizing the watch hour hand and the “24-hour” hand, be sure to set the watch to local time, and then press the crown back to position 1.
- Adjust the time: 24 hours-hours-minutes-seconds. Pull the crown out to position 3, at which time the second hand stops moving, then turn the crown forward or backward, and finally press the crown back to position 1 to calibrate the second hand.
Second time zone function:
The “24-hour” hand with a triangle mark allows travelers to easily read the domestic time on the 24-hour scale in the center of the dial with just one glance.
