Although the case with a diameter of 45 mm is crafted like the fuselage of a stealth jet, this Ulysse Nardin Imagined Blast will definitely not go unnoticed for its highly special design. The collection Squadron includes four versions. Two are made of ceramic, one in black and the other in white. The third watch is equipped with a titanium bracelet and a blue bezel, made of the same materials. As for the last piece, it flaunts its preciousness, dressed in a rose gold robe. The colored dashes further highlight the contrast of each model. The hour and minute hands coated with Super-LumiNova® stand out perfectly. All four cases act as a frame for a stunning geometric structure in full relief, thanks to the presence of the skeletonized UN-172 movement.

Thus, within the impressive X-shaped tourbillon cage, the automatic silicon regulator beats at a frequency of 2.5 Hz, the movement verticality is emphasized by the presence of the barrel and platinum micro-rotor center stage front at 12 o’clock, as well as the flying tourbillon at 6 o’clock. A large opening, framed by a rectangular raised bridge, clearly displays the many components of the automatic movement. Of course, this precise movement performs exceptionally well and offers a robust 72-hour power reserve.

Depending on the version chosen, the blue, white, black and rose gold Blast models are complemented by straps made of rubber, alligator leather, velvet or denim. Other options are also available. All straps are clasped by a novel, patented three-blade system.
