Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Control Advance Timer

This new steel timepiece with mechanical alarm and time functions invites us to wake up every morning and plan our day with pleasure and elegance.

A name derived from the abbreviation of two Latin words, memo for memory and vox for voice, which immediately reveals its function: Memovox. Since 1950, Jaeger-LeCoultre has been proposing a watch with a mechanical alarm and a movement that forever changed to host the most advanced functions. Initially manual-winding, it switched to automatic in 1956, then integrated a date display in 1959 and a high-frequency display in 1970. This year, the Master Control Memovox Timer watch with a sapphire crystal case back further sets off a new evolution of the movement. In short, the automatic 956 movement has the hours/minutes/seconds control in the center, the date display at 3 o’clock and offers a 45-hour power reserve, the gongs close to the side of the case, struck crazily by the hammers and the skeletonized rotor invites the wearer to enjoy this visual feast.

This new 250-piece limited edition watch also has a timer function that allows you to set a kind of countdown before the alarm rings, for example, to help you organize your day or prepare for an appointment. All these displays are embellished on the dial in two shades of blue, while the Memovox disc with embossed numbers dazzles in the center.

The 40 mm diameter, 50-meter water-resistant stainless steel case surrounds the wrist with a navy blue alligator leather strap.
