Patek Philippe Minute Repeater Tourbillon Model 5303R-001

Watchmaking excellence is at the heart of this timepiece. Once again, Patek Philippe has brought us a stunning visual and auditory show.

Patek Philippe doesn’t do things by half when it comes to grand complications. The new 5303R-001 model once again puts the spotlight on the talents of its watchmakers. The brand’s savoir faire has been constantly enriched by a multitude of creations imagined in the past, especially in the field of striking motors. However, until now, there has never been a watch equipped with a minute repeater and a visible dial-side striking mechanism. Well, now it has been done with this novel watch that, for the occasion, integrates a permanent collection. Its skeletonized structure therefore allows one to admire not only its tourbillon at 6 o’clock, but also the hammers and gongs of the musical complication.

In a completely relief-style scenography, the skeletonized hands tick the hours and minutes, driven by the R TO 27 PS movement, adorned with extraordinary finishes such as circular Geneva waves and such fine satin brushing. This manual-winding movement is set in a rose gold case and topped with a large curved polished bezel. In addition, the 42 mm diameter case also stands out for its grey-gold inlays on the caseband and its engraved leaf motif. The same pattern detonates the push-pieces used to trigger the minute repeater.

The mechanism of the minute repeater tourbillon is also unveiled through the sapphire crystal caseback, which is accentuated by a grey-gold amphitheater and openwork decoration.
