Richard Miller RM 61-01 Ultimate Edition John Blake

The final limited series of this model, as accurate and high-performance as the Jamaican athlete, friend of the brand! The materials used make it different from previous versions.

With the RM 61-01 Ultimate Edition Yohan Blake, Richard Mille first launched this model in 2014. The previous RM 61-01, a younger brother of the impressive RM 59-01 worn by the eponymous sprinter, was crafted around a case (50.23 × 42.70 × 15.84 mm) made of TZP ceramic and other materials. For this ultimate 150-piece series, this material gives way to the Quartz TPT® and Carbon TPT® duo, both appearing on the bezel and caseback respectively, the latter also on the strap. Unlike previous colored versions, this model showcases a monochrome look with variations of gray. The random pattern obtained during the production process of the high-tech material makes each of these watches unique.

This timepiece continues to be driven by the skeletonized RMUL2 movement. This manual-winding movement adds to the lightness of the watch, as it still weighs less than 4.3 grams. Nevertheless, its cutting-edge engineering ensures that it is resistant to shocks of up to 5,000 g and provides a power reserve of approximately 55 hours for the hour, minute and seconds hands thanks to a double barrel system. Its numerous components, gear trains and bridges can be admired from both sides of the case and especially from the sapphire crystal caseback.

Lightweight, robust and water-resistant to 50 meters, the RM 61-01 Ultra Edition Yohan Blake will take full control in your everyday life and will fit perfectly on your wrist during your favorite sports activities, as it comes with a comfortable rubber strap.
