Want versatility? The timepieces from the new collection of the Saint-Imier watchmaker will match all your outfits to a T. Focused on the sportiest references.
This year, Longines has given its Spirit collection an incredibly youthful touch by adopting more up-to-date styles. The hour chapters of the previous piece, composed of large beige Arabic numerals, continue the great traditional design of pilot watches, giving way to a stylish composition characterized by the Super-LumiNova® coating. Like the current three-hand and date models, the chronograph is available in three dials: matte black, grained polished silver and sun-brushed blue. Whichever one you shine on, the time measured is very easy to read thanks to the central direct drive, the 30-minute totalizer at 3 o’clock and the 12-hour totalizer at 6 o’clock. Moreover, both hands stand out with their elaborately tapered tips. The orchestra is surrounded by a tracker accurate to the second. It is also worth noting that the date is set at 4:30, which is nothing more than child’s play and can be adjusted via the dedicated crown at 10 o’clock.
The 42 mm diameter stainless steel case is water-resistant to 100 meters and is equipped with a self-winding movement equipped with an anti-magnetic silicon balance spring. The L688.4 movement has been certified by the Swiss Official Observatory (COSC), an essential proof of accuracy. In addition to this, it provides the watch with a power reserve of at least 60 hours. The five stars below the logo highlight the expertise of this winged hourglass brand and its desire to offer absolutely excellent timepieces.
Longines invites wearers to show off their Spirit chronograph on a leather strap or a stainless steel bracelet connected by a folding clasp.
