TAG Heuer – Carrera 42mm Chronograph Always in the Game

After the Aquaracer, it is now the turn of one of the iconic collections, the sporty Carrera, which comes in a range of colors. All versions are now equipped with the must-have Heuer 02 caliber.

Since the launch of this chronograph under the name of the Heuer Carrera in 1963, it has been constantly changing to better capture the spirit of the times. This year, TAG Heuer presents four new versions of the 42 mm Carrera chronograph. Despite the completely up-to-date rethinking and design of the style, these models are still infused with the soul and sporty appearance of the original timepiece. On the dial, therefore, we find a somewhat airy layout of the time data that ensures a highly comfortable reading. The luminous material on the tips of the hour and minute hands and the hour markers is the icing on the cake. Two subdials are set at 9 and 3 o’clock, allowing the wearer to check the measured time. They are assisted by a central direct drive that hovers over a precise minute tracker. This data is complemented by a small seconds counter and the date, both set at 6 o’clock.

The 42mm diameter stainless steel case houses the high-performance TAG Heuer 02. This automatic movement offers a robust 80-hour power reserve. Fans of the inner workings can discover its rotor through the sapphire crystal caseback.

The 4 Carrera 42mm Chronograph is available with a creamy black or sun-brushed blue dial and a stainless steel bracelet with H-shaped links. The angles of the outer and inner links are rounded, which makes the effect more streamlined, the bracelet thinner and more comfortable to wear. Both the silver version and the anthracite grey version are paired with a brown alligator leather strap.
