The Geneva-based watchmaker has enhanced its collection of watches in the “chic and sporty” style with a sublime variation of its rose gold automatic three-hand and date model.
The Overseas Automatic, launched in 1996, revived the qualities of the series from the 70s and 80s (aka 222 and 333): stylish design and optimal readability. Since then, every variation, every change has continued this desire to propose a functional sports watch that accompanies you on your trips to the office, to appointments. The Fleet watch, launched by Vacheron Constantin in 2016, gave the collection a more original personality. And this new reference pursues this idea. The use of rose gold elevates elegance to the extreme. The 41 mm case, as well as the hour and minute hands and indexes, are embellished with elements of the precious material. The bracelet, adorned with polished satin-brushed links and fitted with a folding clasp also made of this alloy, underscores the watch’s exceptional style. Paired with a deep blue lacquered dial, it further enhances the refined purity.
As with other three-hand references with date, the time data is still powered by the 5100 movement. This high-performance automatic movement offers a power reserve of approximately 60 hours. The sapphire crystal case back admires its wind rose-shaped rotor. Its assembly and finishing are stamped with the Geneva Seal (Geneva Seal), highlighting its excellent quality.
The rose gold Overseas Automatic is paired with two additional dark blue straps, the first in leather and the second in rubber. Whichever you prefer, they are easily interchangeable without tools, thanks to a clever integrated pusher system.
