Omega De Ville Trésor Malachite, a gorgeous gemstone

This exquisite piece from the Biel watchmaker arrives just in time for the festive season at the end of the year. Its brilliance will enhance every elegant and sophisticated wrist…

Designed for a demanding female clientele, the new De Ville Trésor watch launched by Omega at the end of this year has an important asset to attract them: a dial made of malachite. A symbol of eternal youth in Ancient Egypt, this stone features elegant streaks in multiple shades of green. Its name is derived from the Latin word for the ancient Greek word, meaning either sensual or feminine, depending on the context. These two adjectives fit malachite like a glove and are often used to perfect gorgeous jewelry. In this case, its luminous hue blends perfectly with the 36mm case made of 18K Moonshine ticker gold. This is an alloy that the company introduced in 2019 that is paler than traditional gold but more resistant to color loss. Thirty-eight diamonds are set in the middle of the case and one in the crown, highlighting the precious nature of this timepiece.

The slender hour and minute hands make their own rotation, pointing to the hour circle composed of slender Roman numerals driven by the 4061 movement. This quartz movement is known for its “long life” function, which maximizes the battery performance.

The De Ville Trésor Malachite is available with two strap options. One leather is color coordinated with the dial. The other in Milanese mesh is made of the same precious metal as the case. Whichever version you prefer, the watch comes with a 5-year warranty.
