Omega Constellation men’s watch equipped with coaxial 8800/8801 automatic winding movement

Omega has reinvented the style and engineering of its City collection, inviting us to discover countless variations, all COSC-certified and all set to win in METAS (Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology) tests.

Although perhaps not as famous as the Speedmaster and Seamaster, the Constellation collection has been a cornerstone of the Omega galaxy since 1952. For 2020, it generates models in 5 thousand. No fewer than 26 references reinvent the collection, all with the same 39mm diameter case. The case is made in a variety of materials and now features beveled, polished angles. These updated cases, available in steel, Sedna ticker gold, and yellow gold, to name just three, also boast a more refined bezel adorned with reinterpreted Roman numerals. The crown is conical, adding a touch of sophistication. On the dial, which flaunts new patterns and colors, the shapes of the hour and minute hands and the hour markers are inspired by the triangular facets of New York’s Freedom Tower. The date window remains the same as before at 6 o’clock.

Among the novelties, it is also worth noting the special craftsmanship of the metal bracelet, whose new links are separated by polished springs and feature a release system for optimal wearing comfort. In addition, Omega has introduced a variety of leather straps in different colors.

All these new models are equipped with the Co-Axial 8800/8801 automatic movement (power reserve 55 hours). It can be seen through the sapphire crystal glass back. All components have a higher resistance to magnetic field effects and are Master Chronometer certified (COSC and METAS), guaranteeing robustness and high precision.
