Breguet Tradition QUANTIÈME RÉTROGRADE 7597

This reference, diffusing an atmosphere exclusive to the Manufacture, proposes a complication that is both practical in everyday use and easily adjustable with a threaded corrector using a patented mechanism.

The Tradition collection includes watches with the same unique feature, namely a completely visible movement. With the Quantième Rétrograde 7597, Breguet unveils a new ode to fine watchmaking with a timepiece that takes center stage with a breathtaking engineering scene. On its off-centered, manually guilloché dial, two blued steel hollow moon and minute hands hover over Roman numerals. One of the Manufacture’s classic hallmarks. Below, we find a large barrel flanked by a symmetrically set gear train: the central wheel is at 8 o’clock and the rotor at 4 o’clock. In the lower part of the piece, a scale composed of odd numbers is used as a marking for the retrograde date. This scale is animated by a thin blue hand. To set it, a specific pusher placed at 10 o’clock invites you to easily increment the date.

All these time data are driven by the 505Q automatic movement, which is protected by an elegant 40 mm diameter case and is available in white or rose gold. Although the gold rotor injects the style of the historical movement, the energy transmission components are completely up-to-date: an inverted in-line lever escapement with silicon horn and silicon Breguet balance spring. The device provides a minimum of 50 hours of autonomy when fully wound.

The traditional Quantième Rétrograde 7597 is worn on an alligator leather strap with a pin buckle.
