Following the Magnum 540 Sapphire and the incredible Weap-one Diamond Asymmetrical Tourbillon, Rebellion debuts its RE-Volt models, which focus on three novel translucent cases. All are made of synthetic sapphire and emphasize transparency to enhance visual emotions. The watchmakers’ attention to detail goes beyond the limit, even making the crown of the RE-Volt sapphire in the same material as the case. The colors chosen for these exclusive pieces are unambiguously reminiscent of those seen in the world of racing, a sport that is forever so dear to the brand. The translucent skeletonized case and bridges are colored directly in the solid material, and their sculptural silhouettes are like the body of a supercar, available in Electric Blue and Passion Red. The third version, dressed in white from head to toe, attracts the eye. The purity of its hue is at the center of the most advanced personality and layered scene design of the timepiece.
On the skeletonized dial, in the same color, the hands and hour markers are covered with SuperLumiNova® to ensure excellent readability in any light condition. This lightweight yet robust case is water-resistant to 3 ATM and houses a 165-component, hand-wound in-house movement that provides a 48-hour power reserve.
All RE-Volt Sapphire watches are worn on a large vulcanized rubber strap, whose color perfectly matches the case.
Water-resistant to 300 meters, this diver has been ensuring absolute diving safety since 1993, inviting us to explore the depths of the ocean. This time, it urges us to enter a darker but also extremely attractive realm.
In the deepest part of the ocean, at depths below 1,000 meters, black reigns supreme… everywhere. From 200 meters down, pure darkness embraces almost everything. Yet, tiny rays of sunlight occasionally penetrate the waves. This source of luminescence is enough to give life. With its Seamaster Diver 300M Black, Omega delights us with quite similar visual stimulation. This timepiece is adorned with the color of the abyss, right down to its tiniest details. Yet in this purely monochrome scene, the time data are very easy to read, even if the luminosity is invisible! To achieve this effect, the dial, decorated with a traditional laser-etched wave pattern, the positive relief scales, the large skeletonized hands and the dot at 12 o’clock on the unidirectional bezel are coated with anthracite Super-LumiNova®.
The polished and satin-finished case with a diameter of 43.5 mm is made of black ceramic, as are the helium escape valve and the screw-down crown. Tailor-made to the same standards as diving gear, this case protects the Co-Axial Master Chronometer 8806 movement. Certified by the Swiss Federal Institute of Metrology METAS for its chronometry and resistance to magnetic fields up to 15,000 gauss, this self-winding movement offers a power reserve of approximately 55 hours. Its oscillating weight features arabesque Côtes de Genève, which can be admired through the sapphire crystal case back.
